DTF — unyumbufu kwa rangi nyingi na oda ndogo
DTF (Direct-to-Film) ni teknolojia mpya. Design inachapishwa kwenye film maalum kwa wino wa CMYK pamoja na nyeupe, kisha inabandikwa kwa joto kwenye kitambaa. Faida kubwa: inafanya kazi kwa kitambaa chochote — pamba, polyester, blends, hata nylon — bila maandalizi ya ziada.
Inafaa: design zenye rangi nyingi au picha, oda ndogo, majina/namba za mtu binafsi, vitambaa vilivyochanganyika.
Uimara: juu — inadumu vizuri ikitunzwa (kufua ndani-nje, maji ya baridi).
Tatizo: kwa oda kubwa sana inakuwa ghali zaidi ya screen printing kwa kila t-shirt.
Embroidery — mwonekano wa premium
Badala ya wino, uzi unashonwa moja kwa moja kwenye kitambaa. Matokeo: mwonekano wa hali ya juu, wenye texture, unaokaa vizuri kwenye polo, kofia, jacket na uniform za ofisi.
Inafaa: logo (si picha kubwa), polo na collar shirt, uniform za kampuni, kofia, jacket.
Uimara: juu kuliko zote — hakuna wino wa kupasuka wala kufifia; unadumu kama kitambaa chenyewe.
Tatizo: haifai kwa t-shirt nyembamba (uzi unaifanya inyooke na kuwa nzito), wala kwa design zenye detail ndogo au gradient za rangi. Ghali zaidi kwa design kubwa.

Screen Printing — king of large orders
Ink is pushed through a screen (like a stencil) onto the fabric. Each colour needs its own separate screen. Because the screen is made once then used for every piece, the cost drops as quantity rises — which is why it suits large orders.
Best for: high-volume orders, designs with 1 to 6 solid colours (not photos), cotton.
Durability: very high — lasts 50+ washes without fading.
Drawback: not suited to small orders (the screen cost is spread over few pieces), nor to multi-colour photos. On polyester there is a risk of dye migration (the fabric dye bleeding up into the ink).
DTF — flexibility for many colours and small orders
DTF (Direct-to-Film) is a newer technology. The design is printed onto a special film using CMYK plus white ink, then heat-pressed onto the fabric. The big advantage: it works on virtually any fabric — cotton, polyester, blends, even nylon — with no extra preparation.
Best for: multi-colour or photographic designs, small orders, individual names/numbers, mixed fabrics.
Durability: high — holds up well when cared for (wash inside-out, cold water).
Drawback: for very large orders it becomes more expensive per piece than screen printing.
Embroidery — the premium look
Instead of ink, thread is stitched directly into the fabric. The result: a high-end, textured look that sits well on polos, caps, jackets and office uniforms.
Best for: logos (not large photos), polo and collar shirts, company uniforms, caps, jackets.
Durability: the highest of all — no ink to crack or fade; it lasts as long as the fabric itself.
Drawback: not suited to thin t-shirts (the thread makes them stretch and feel heavy), nor to fine detail or colour gradients. More expensive for large designs.

L’encre est poussée à travers un écran (comme un pochoir) sur le tissu. Chaque couleur nécessite son propre écran. Comme l’écran est fabriqué une seule fois puis utilisé pour toutes les pièces, le coût baisse à mesure que la quantité augmente — d’où son intérêt pour les grandes commandes.
Idéal pour : grandes quantités, motifs de 1 à 6 couleurs unies (pas de photos), coton.
Durabilité : très élevée — tient plus de 50 lavages sans se décolor er.
Inconvénient : peu adapté aux petites commandes (le coût de l’écran est réparti sur peu de pièces), ni aux photos multicolores. Sur le polyester, risque de migration de teinture.
DTF — la flexibilité pour les couleurs et les petites commandes
Le DTF (Direct-to-Film) est une technologie plus récente. Le motif est imprimé sur un film spécial avec de l’encre CMJN plus blanc, puis transféré à chaud sur le tissu. Grand avantage : il fonctionne sur pratiquement tous les tissus — coton, polyester, mélanges, même nylon — sans préparation supplémentaire.
Idéal pour : motifs multicolores ou photos, petites commandes, noms/numéros individuels, tissus mixtes.
Durabilité : élevée — tient bien avec un bon entretien (lavage à l’envers, eau froide).
Inconvénient : pour de très grandes commandes, le coût par pièce dépasse celui de la sérigraphie.
Broderie — le rendu haut de gamme
Au lieu d’encre, le fil est cousu directement dans le tissu. Résultat : un rendu haut de gamme, texturé, qui convient aux polos, casquettes, vestes et uniformes de bureau.
Idéal pour : logos (pas de grandes photos), polos et chemises à col, uniformes d’entreprise, casquettes, vestes.
Durabilité : la plus élevée — pas d’encre qui se craquèle ou se décolore ; dure aussi longtemps que le tissu.
Inconvénient : peu adapté aux t-shirts fins (le fil les alourdit) ni aux détails fins ou dégradés. Plus cher pour les grands motifs.
